Back to the News Summaries
On Sunday, July 4, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship service topic will be "The Transforming Power of Greed," presented by John Graves. He cites some of the disastrous consequences of greed and suggests that results of the enduring conflict between greed and altruism might serve to indicate the success or failure of the human experiment on this earth.

Graves is a Professor Emeritus of Mass Communication at the University of Central Missouri, a professional musician , and former broadcasting and film executive and producer.  He and his wife, Ann, retired to Pagosa Springs in 1996.

To begin their Magical Summer Sundays, the children and young people will venture outside, create a magic carpet ride and read poems about our country and sing about our lands.

The service begins at 10:30am in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.

All are welcome.
