UU Congregation Considers 'Collective Meditation'

Back to the News Summaries
On Sunday, August 1, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will consider "Using the Power of the Collective for the Gulf of Mexico," in a service led by past PUUF president, Susan Junta.

"Having learned about the Art and Science of Meditation from Julie Loar last month, let us put this learning into practice.  During this morning of Meditation, we will help to stabilize conditions in the Gulf of Mexico by focusing our attention on a healing for that area."

She adds that "Wherever two or more are gathered together in prayerful meditation, the power is multiplied exponentially and miracles can happen!"

Inspired by the UU retreat last month, the young people will spend their August Sunday mornings exploring ways to reuse, reduce, and recycle items from their supply closet.   Special guests will visit, and we will create, share, and discover together.

The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the Fire Station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign.

All are welcome.
